AMOP Abstract Submissions
Environment Canada is seeking papers for the 2009 AMOP Technical Seminar. You are invited to
submit an Abstract for a paper for possible presentation. Papers should address key issues on
the topics relating to either oil or chemical and hazardous materials that are listed here.
Sessions will consist of 10- or 20-minute presentations, followed by a question-and-answer
period and a Speaker's Corner where presenters can discuss the results of their most recent
research. Researchers can also present their latest work at daily poster presentations.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is December 31, 2008. Abstracts should
be approximately 300 words long. To download the Abstract Submission form, click on the link
at the left.
Abstracts will be reviewed by an independent panel. If your abstract is accepted,
an electronic copy of draft papers is due March 27, 2009. These papers will be peer-reviewed and
checked for technical accuracy and format. Final, corrected papers must be received by April 17, 2009 to ensure
enough time for preparation of the seminar proceedings.
Further details about registration and accommodations will be sent out in the Preliminary Program
in February and will also be available on this site.
